چکیده
During mycological explorations, a new smooth spored species, Inocybe subhimalayanensis Razzaq, Naseer & Khalid sp. nov. was collected from moist temperate sub-Himalayan region, Pakistan. Phylogeny of ITS and LSU regions nrDNA, morphoanatomical data make it distinct other known species the genus. The taxon is characterized by: yellowish orange to brown pileus with prominent fibrillose, umbo; ellipsoid amygdaliform larger basidiospores (8.4‒)8.6‒12.2(‒12.6) × (4.9‒)5.1‒7.1(‒7.3) µm; lack velipellis. Molecular phylogenetic analyses further support recognition species.

Using RPB1 sequences to improve phylogenetic inference among mushrooms (Inocybe, Agaricales).
An investigation of mushroom phylogeny using the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II gene sequences (RPB1) was conducted in comparison with nuclear ribosomal large subunit RNA gene sequences (nLSU) for the same set of taxa in the genus Inocybe (Agaricales, Basidiomycota). The two data sets, though not significantly incongruent, exhibit conflict among the placement of two taxa that exhibit long...
متن کاملImproving phylogenetic inference of mushrooms with RPB1 and RPB2 nucleotide sequences (Inocybe; Agaricales).
Approximately 3000 bp across 84 taxa have been analyzed for variable regions of RPB1, RPB2, and nLSU-rDNA to infer phylogenetic relationships in the large ectomycorrhizal mushroom genus Inocybe (Agaricales; Basidiomycota). This study represents the first effort to combine variable regions of RPB1 and RPB2 with nLSU-rDNA for low-level phylogenetic studies in mushroom-forming fungi. Combination o...

A new and rare ergostane triterpenoid, 4alpha-methyl-3alpha,4beta-dihydroxy-ergost-8,24(28)-dien-7,11-dion-25-al (1), was isolated from cultures of the basidiomycete Inocybe lilacina, and its structure established on the basis of spectral methods (MS, IR, 1D and 2D NMR).

Clitocybe alboinfundibulliforme sp. nov. is widely distributed in Korea. Volvariella koreana sp. nov. is rarely distributed in Korea. These taxa were occasionally found together at the same place. Both of these species seem to be associated with each other. These two species are fully described and illustrated in this paper.
متن کاملEctomycorrhizal Inocybe species associate with the mycoheterotrophic orchid Epipogium aphyllum but not its asexual propagules.
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Epipogium aphyllum is a Eurasian achlorophyllous, mycoheterotrophic forest orchid. Due to its rarity, it is often protected, and its biology is poorly known. The identity and pattern of colonization of fungal associates providing carbon to this orchid have not been studied previously. METHODS Using samples from 34 individuals from 18 populations in Japan, Russia and France...
